Dear Publisher or Ebook Enthusiast,
Wouldnīt you be suprised if you sell eBooks
and your customers complain not to be able to read your eBooks?
I was very surprised and couldnīt believe it. I recommended to download the eBooks again, shut down their anti-virus programs and many other solutions.
They called me again and their problems werenīt solved by my recommandations.
They described me that they get the following error message by opening their eBooks or clicking a link inside it.
So I needed to go deeper into this problem and found out that they have something in common.
They all have upgraded their windows XP system to service pack 2. Normally a new service pack means that your system runs safer and you have less problems than before upgrading but this service pack hasnīt done you a favor when you are an eBook publisher or eBook reader.
It changes your security settings, provides a strong firewall and a few other useful things but also it stops you immediately from reading your favorite eBooks.
So what could I do to end up with all the complaints and how could I stop this problem?
I also have installed service pack 2 on my
test system and searched the reason causing this problem by
upgrading to service pack 2 in endless hours.
....and I found the reason.
Now I was able to create
